Velmer J. Gardner
1913 - 1993

Velmer J. Gardner, a graduate of Northwestern Bible College, entered the evangelistic ministry in 1938. After spending a short time on the evangelistic field, he started pastoring. He pastored three churches in the state of Washington, but in 1943, God began to deal with his heart.

After spending hours in prayer, God gave Rev. Gardner faith to believe for great revivals with miracles of healing. He listened to the great men of faith, such as Smith Wigglesworth and Dr. Charles Price, and his soul got stirred and his faith was inspired. In the process of asking God why he didn't have meetings like the meetings of Wigglesworth and Price, God spoke to him and said, "You can if you'll pay the price."

Determined to have God's best, regardless of the cost, Rev. Gardner sought God even more. He prayed for the sick in all his meetings, and he saw miracles of healing that shook cities and brought great revivals. He knew, by experience, that the God of miracles still lived today. In one service alone, he prayed for a prayer line that was six people deep and one quarter of a mile long. There were mighty miracles that took place in that prayer line alone.

Regardless of your affliction, you can be healed. If doctors have given you up to die, you can be healed. When your friends say your disease is incurable, you can be healed. Even though the paralyzing hand of death is upon your body, you can be healed.
